Mark Jeager

Mark H. Jaeger is the Chief Technology Officer of Eriginate and a partner in HerdStar LLC. Prior to a merger with HerdStar, Mr. Jaeger was the owner and co-founder of Novonix Corporation an Electronics Engineering and Software Development company.

For the past 22 years, Mr. Jaeger has identified and developed a number of innovative electronic control products and software solutions for the Agricultural Industry, including the industry’s leading livestock sorting scale and the first internet-based barn monitoring system. Of these products, Mr. Jaeger has issued and received several patents.

Mr. Jaeger was previously the Vice President of Engineering at Blue Earth Research, an electronics control developer focusing primarily in Animal Confinement Ventilation Systems. Mr. Jaeger managed the development of multiple lines of controls for both the swine and poultry industries, which were recognized in the industry as a new standard for ventilation control.

Mr. Jaeger’s initial experience resulted from his work at Weigh-Tronix, the number two electronic scale manufacturer worldwide. Mr. Jaeger defined and developed a number of products including livestock scales and feed processing systems. Many of these products are still sold today and continue to be recognized as the most reliable and most accurate systems available.

Mr. Jaeger is a longtime member of ASAE for Agricultural Engineers and is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a BA in Business & Computer Science and extended education in Electronics Engineering.
