Mr. Baarsch is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Eriginate Corporation. He is also the President and CEO of Next Generation Pork, Inc., and President and major shareholder of HerdStar, LLC.

Next Generation Pork is a swine production company that markets 100,000 pigs annually and manages another 100,000 pigs annually.

Mr. Baarsch is also President and Founder of HerdStar, LLC, a technology company focused on monitoring and management software and hardware for swine and poultry production. HerdStar products are used throughout the United States and Canada, and Japan, Korea, and New Zealand.

Mr. Baarsch is well-recognized throughout the North American Swine Industry as a speaker on an audio cassette and CD series called “At the Meeting with the Morrison Group”. This bimonthly series is in its twelfth year and is distributed to swine industry leaders and veterinarians

Prior to returning to production agriculture, Mr. Baarsch was a commodity broker for Merrill Lynch and Dean Witter Reynolds and also spent four years in sales and product management with Domain, Inc. – a livestock feed and specialty ingredient manufacturer.

Mr. Baarsch is a third-generation pork producer with a BS in Agricultural Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
